That depends on what you consider cheap, and where you’d like to live. I live in California, but will be moving to Buffalo, NY in two years because the cost of living is cheaper, and I can own a home for ALOT less then I can here. I was also looking at Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania as possibilities. References :
